Press Hardening Steel (PHS)

Hot-formed steel (PHS) is an important branch of ultra-high strength steel (UHSS). It obtains ultra-high strength of 1500~2000 MPa through the heating→stamping→quenching process

and is widely used in automotive safety structural parts.

(1) Vehicle body safety structural parts	A/B pillar reinforcement: resists side impact during collision (USIBOR® 1500)
	Sill beam: bottom impact energy absorption (22MnB5).
	Roof rails: rollover protection (USIBOR® 2000).
(2) Front/rear anti-collision structure	Bumper beam: Low-speed collision energy absorption (Ductibor® 1000 softening design).
(3) Battery pack protection frame (exclusive for electric vehicles)	Adopt 27MnCrB5 or PHS coating, taking both strength and corrosion resistance into consideration.
